Sorry I've been posting so infrequently lately - I've been mad busy here trying to sort everything out before the Christmas holidays. Anyway, tomorrow I'm off to Rome! Can't wait - I've been once and loved it. This time I'm staying in the Irish College in Rome, thanks to the kindness of a former curate in my home parish.

Enjoy your stay at the Irish College.
The basillica looks absolutely magnificent....don't forget to pack the camera!
St. Clemente's is really great. A fantastic cross section of Roman history....layer upon layer.
Also great is the dome of St. Peter's (except the queue).
How come you got to stay in the Irish College? The feckers never let me stay there.
Anyway, glad to hear that you got the full tour of San Clemente. Fr T is so hospitable.
